Security
Patient records are treated like patient records.
A clinic holds some of the most private information there is. Here is what Doctor Wallet does about it, in plain words.
Encrypted on your PC
The clinic database is encrypted on disk. A stolen PC or a copied file doesn't give anyone your patients.
Roles that are enforced
What a receptionist, nurse or cashier can see is decided by the program itself, not just hidden on the screen.
Every change on record
A tamper-evident activity log records who did what. Opening a patient's record is logged too.
Passwords you can't read
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, here and in the cloud. Web portal sign-in locks after five wrong tries.
Backups you can restore
Scheduled encrypted backups on your PC, and a live copy in your clinic's own cloud database.
A clinic of your own
Each clinic has its own database. One clinic's data is never mixed with, or visible to, another's.
What we never do
- We never show patient information on this website. The doctor directory lists only what a doctor chooses to publish about themselves.
- Staff at LankaNova don't open your patient records. Our console shows your licence, payments and support information, not your patients.
- We never put patient names, phone numbers or medical text into our error reports or activity logs.
Our privacy notice explains how personal data is handled under Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act.
